I am not sure if it is because she was recording the speech on the tape,... but it sounded to me like she was reading a script and it was less convincing that it should have been.
A person who needs to address speech to the world including (US president) , they need to speak in steady to avoid misunderstanding and must clear whatever he/she speak to others. So she tried to speak very clearly and also not in fast speed. You can refer to Obama speech as an example.But during interview times, they normally do not care about it.
What a speech? Daw Suu certainly has a great and comprehensive visions (political, economic and social) for the people of Burma.
