အခု ျမဝတီၿမိဳ႕မွာ တိုက္ေနတဲ့ DKBA တပ္မဟာ ၅ က ဗိုလ္ႏႈတ္ခမ္းေမႊး ေခၚ ဗိုလ္မႉးႀကီး ေစာလားပြယ္က စစ္အစိုးရရဲ႕ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲဟာ ျမန္မာျပည္သူလူထု အတြက္ အေျပာင္းအလဲကို ေဆာင္က်ဥ္းေပးႏိုင္မွာ မဟုတ္ဘူးလို႔ ဆိုပါတယ္။

“သူတို႔က (စစ္အစိုးရက) အေရခြံပဲ လဲတာ။ ေရြးေကာက္ပြဲကို လူေတြကို မဲေပးဖို႔ အတင္းအက်ပ္ လုပ္ေနတာ” လို႔ ဗိုလ္ႏႈတ္ခမ္းေမြးက ေျပာပါတယ္။

တိုက္ခိုက္မႈေတြဟာ ျမဝတီ၊ ဘုရားသံုးဆူ စတဲ့ ထိုင္း-ျမန္မာ နယ္စပ္ေတြမွာ ျဖစ္ေနပါတယ္။

သတင္းေတြ အရေတာ့ စစ္အစိုးရက ျမဝတီၿမိဳ႕ကို ျပန္သိမ္းဖို႔ တပ္ေတြ အားျဖည့္ေနတယ္၊ ဒီညမွာ တိုက္ပြဲေတြ ဆက္ျဖစ္ႏိုင္တယ္လို႔ ဆိုပါတယ္။


Unwanted Election: DKBA’s Saw Lah Pwe

Col Saw Lah Pwe, commander of the Democratic Karen Buddhist Army Brigade 5 who is commanding his troops in attacking the Burmese government troops in Myawaddy town said that election will not bring democratic reform for people of Burma.

One day after the general election, clashes between Burmese government and the DKBA faction led by Col Saw Lah Pwe that rejected anti-border guard forces (BGF) broke out on Thai-Burma border since 9 a.m on Monday until night.

Saw Lah Pwe said the Sunday election will not bring democracy, equality and rights for people of Burma including ethnic minorities.

“They [regime] only shed their skin. They forced people to vote in this election,” said Saw Lah Pwe.

The fighting took place in several areas in souther Karen state including in Myawaddy and Three Pagodas Pass border with northern Thailand, said sources close to the DKBA.

According to sources, the Burmese government is still reinforcing its troops and planned to retake the Myawaddy town. The fighting will continue the whole night, said sources.
