ျမန္မာ့ ဒီမုိကေရစီေခါင္းေဆာင္ ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ဟာ ဥေရာပခရီးစဥ္အတြင္း ၿဗိတိန္ႏိုင္ငံ က ျပန္ေရာက္ ၿပီး မၾကာခင္မွာ ေနျပည္ေတာ္မွာ က်င္းပေနတဲ့ လႊတ္ေတာ္ အစည္းအေ၀းေတြကို ဇူလုိင္လ ၉ ရက္ေန႔ကတည္း က စတင္တက္ေရာက္ေနရလုိ႔ ဆုကို ေနျပည္ေတာ္အထိ လာေရာက္ခ်ီးျမွင့္တာလည္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
အခု ေဒၚေအာင္ဆန္းစုၾကည္ ရရွိလိုက္တဲ့ Churchill ဆုဆုိတာ Dr. Gilbert A. Churchill ဆုိတဲ့ ၀င္ကြန္ဆန္ တကၠသိုလ္ က ေစ်းကြက္ဆုိင္ရာ ပါေမာကၡေဟာင္းတဦးကို ဂုဏ္ျပဳတဲ့အေနနဲ႔ AMA Market Research Special Interest Group က ေစ်းကြက္ သုေတသနဆုိင္ရာ ေလ့လာသူေတြကို ႏွစ္စဥ္ ေပးအပ္တဲ့ ဆု လည္းျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
Churchill Award နဲ႔ပတ္သက္တဲ့ အေၾကာင္းနဲ႔ ဒီဆုကို ရခဲ့သူစာရင္းကိုလည္း မူရင္းကိုေဖာ္ျပေပးလိုက္ပါတယ္။
The Churchill Award for lifetime achievement in the academic study of Marketing Research is given each year by the AMA Market Research Special Interest Group to honor Dr. Gilbert A. Churchill. Dr. Churchill is retired professor of Marketing at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Dr. Churchill has been a prolific researcher, author, teacher, and administrator in the field of academic research. He received a DBA from Indiana University in 1966, and spent his career at the University of Wisconsin. He has served on numerous editorial boards and was editor of the Journal of Marketing Research. He has published widely in the field, including a number of seminal articles and standard textbooks. Dr. Churchill has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Distinguished Marketing Educator Award (American Marketing Association, 1986), the Lifetime Achievement Award (Marketing Science, 1993), and the Paul D. Converse Award (1996) for marketing scholarship.
