မခင္သန္းျမင့္၊ ကုိကုိႀကီး၊ ဦးအုန္းႀကိဳင္
ခ်က္သမၼတႏိုင္ငံ ပရက္ၿမိဳ ႔မွာ ဘယ္လာရုစ္နဲ႔ျမန္မာျပည္အေရး ေဆြးေႏြးပဲြတခု က်င္းပေတာ့မွာပါ။

ဥေရာပတုိင္းျပည္တခုျဖစ္တ့ဲ ဘယ္လာရုစ္က ရုရွား နဲ႔ ပုိလန္နုိင္ငံၾကားထဲမွာ ရိွပါတယ္။ ၂၀၁၀ ကုလသမဂၢစာရင္းအရ လူဦးေရ ဆယ္သန္းရိွတ့ဲ နုိင္ငံငယ္ေလးပါ။

ႏွစ္နုိင္ငံ တူၾကတ့ဲအခ်က္က နုိင္ငံေရးသမားေတြကုိ ေထာင္ထဲထည့္ထားတာပါပဲ။

အာဏာရွင္အစုိးရေတြ သက္ဆုိးရွည္ခ့ဲတာလည္း တူတယ္၊ အေျပာင္းအလဲေတြ လုပ္ေနၾကတာခ်င္းလည္း တူပါတယ္။ သုိ႔ေသာ္လည္း သူတုိ႔ဆီက အာဏာရွင္မ်ားကေတာ့ ေရႊရည္စိမ္ဒီမုိကေရစီ ျဖစ္ထြန္းေစမယ့္  ၂၀၀၈ အေျခခံဥပေဒလုိမ်ဳိး  တီထြင္တ့ဲ အစီအစဥ္ေတာ့ ရိွဟန္ မတူပါဘူး။

BELARUS-BURMA ROUNDTABLE လုိ႔ အမည္ေပးထားျပီး လာမယ့္ ၾကာသပေတး၊ ေသာၾကာေန႔ေတြမွာ ျပဳလုပ္မယ့္ ဒီေဆြးေႏြးပဲြအတြက္ ျမန္မာျပည္ ဒီမုိကေရစီအေရး လႈပ္ရွားသူတခ်ဳိ႕လည္း ဥေရာပ ေရာက္ေနၾကပါျပီ။

Generation Wave အဖဲြ႔ ပူးတဲြတည္ေထာင္သူ ကုိမင္းရန္ႏုိင္ စတ့ဲ စတ့ဲ ပုဂၢဳိလ္ေတြ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

သူတုိ႔အေၾကာင္း အဂၤလိပ္ ဘာသာနဲ႔ ခပ္တုိတုိ မိတ္ဆက္ထားတာကုိ ေဆြးေႏြးပဲြအစီအစဥ္ထဲကေန ေကာက္ႏုတ္ ေဖာ္ျပလုိက္ပါတယ္။

KHIN THAN MYINT
Women's rights activist, member of the National League for Democracy (NLD)
Joined the National League for Democracy in 1995, since that time she has been very
active in youth and women’s activities. In 2000 she was arrested for helping to arrange
Daw Aung San Suu Kyi's visit to Mandalay. In January 2001 she was released from
prison.

KO KO GYI
Member of 88 Generation Students group, human rights activist, former political
prisoner
In 1988 as a final year student at the University of Rangoon’s International Relations
program, Ko Ko Gyi led peaceful rallies on the university campus. He was actively
involved in the 8-8-88 uprising and was appointed the Vice-Chairman of the All Burma
Federation of Student Unions (ABFSU). In December 1991, he was arrested for
participating in a student gathering at the University of Rangoon to honor Daw Aung San
Suu Kyi being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, which resulted in him being sentenced to
20 years in jail with hard labor. He was released in March 2005. His most recent
incarceration came in November 2008, when he was sentenced to 65 years in prison. He
was released in January 2012 and has been very active and involved in current political
situation since his release.

KYAW THU
Director of Paung Ku, Initiative for Strengthening Civil Society
Paung Ku, which was founded 2011, is a civil society strengthening project that
provides funding and capacity building trainings to local civil society organizations
across a range of sectors for service delivery (in particular to poor and marginalized
people), networking, and advocacy projects.

MIN YAN NAING
Co-founder of Generation Wave, youth pro-democracy movement
Min Yan Naing is one of the four founders of the youth pro-democracy movement
Generation Wave, which was established in October 2007 in reaction to the Saffron
Revolution. All of the activists were involved in student demonstrations held in 1996
and 1998. The movement was initially formed by young people between 15 and 25 years
old, who came up with new ways to express themselves through hip hop music and the
Internet.


U OHN KYAING

Central Executive Committee member for National League for Democracy (NLD)
U Ohn Kyaing graduated as a journalist and has worked for several newspapers and
magazines. As a result of his participation in the People’s Democratic Movement in 1988,
he was forced to retire from his position as the editor of the Botathaung newspaper. In
1990, he was elected as Member of Parliament for the NLD. Afterwards, he was
imprisoned and sentenced to 17 years for writing and distributing “seditious pamphlets
and threatening state security”. Since his release in 2005, he has been active in the NLD
as a Central Executive Committee member in Yangon. In by-elections 2012 was elected
as MP for Mahaaungmye Township.
